A few questions?
Why can't congress admit it has failed to do it's job?
Why can't they admit we are not going to win the war on terror and bring our troops home, secure our borders, stop all foreign aid and declare the Constitution the law of the land.
Why don't they impeach the president and send him to the United Nations where he belongs.
Why can't they start each days session with a pledge of allegiance and prayer for revival and a return to our CHRISTIAN heritage and values.
Why can't they get out of the way and let America and Americans have freedom again?
Just asking!

A bird found only in Hawaii. There are a lot of things in these islands that we can only take away in memories. If you are lucky enough to go there you will forever have a piece of it in your heart.

Today is flag day and I forgot to post my flag. So thought I would do it here and say I am proud to be an American and declare my angst with the liberal unamerican enemy now present in Washington D.C. They do not represent the America I served in the Marines and for which countless others have served before and given the supreme sacrifice. God bless the United States of America and may we return to the Christian work ethic our forefathers passed on to us. Pray for an American awakening from sea to shining sea!

I am currently working on a rock garden in our back yard. It is hot and hard so progress is slow as my age will not let me go like I used to and my wife reminds me at least six times a day it is hot outside.
Can't wait to see what God's growing hand has in store for us with the finished product.

Friday Quote

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But a traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, by sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
Marcus Cicero
Roman orator, statesman 42 B.C.

A good father is a gift from God, bless all the good fathers out there. If you are a father and not sure if you are a good one try to emulate your heavenly father and pray for His help in doing it and remember He said that children were what the heavenly kingdom would be like. So enjoy your childen while you can for they grow up to fast.

A fool says, "There is no God."
A scholar says, "Tradition says there is a God as an option to understanding how things came to be."
A wise man says, "There is a God."
A Christian says, "I know there is a God for He lives within may heart."

More Federal Waste at the Clinton Library. My question is why can't they still be using this car - it looks good to me? Why does each new president require a new limo? Could it be that each new administration stinks worse than the one before it? I think it is just mindless zeal to spend tax dollars.

This brood grew up on our front porch last year --- they were cute and fun to watch, hatch, grow and learn to fly --- but oh what a mess they left behind --- mud nest, bird droppings everywhere and a really bad smell. They have made two attempts to rebuild this year --- my garden hose has washed away their hopes --- my hopes --- they find another place to procreate.
