Geeezz!!! I don't know what to say about the state of things. It has been my practice when faced with a problem that there was no answer to --- just take it to God. "Father heal our land, cause Your people to repent and turn to You, call forth leaders that are strong in Your Word Drive the evil doers from Your face. God bless America once again."

Bear says, "I know a man who is a Vietnam veteran. He understands what college exemptions are about as he enjoyed one for a while, until he met a fell in love with his lifelong mate and had to lay out of school for a year to catch up on finances. During that period he received his draft notice, he didn't have a dog in the fight but his country called and he looked at his options. Aviation was what he wanted and at the time the Marine Corps was his only option so he became a Marine. He says he has no regrets and is proud to have served his country. He says he doesn't understand those who protest against our troops who serve in our nations conflicts as he has never known a Marine who picked the conflict he was involved in unless it was with another Marine or Sailor. He says he will never understand anyone who would lie about service to his country claiming to have done something others did on his behalf --- it shows the greatest form of cowardice and contempt for those who served and some who even died for their freedom. Bear says he knows that man speaks the truth for he is that man."

I woke up this morning to a sinking feeling that the future is inevitable. The Arkansas primaries ended yesterday and with all that has been done to us by our government these past two years I had held hope that the American people would wake up and return us to sanity. Anger is not enough to express my disappointment! On the Democratic side we have a run off between two career politicians that have in common just about everything that is wrong with our country and even though I cast my votes in the Republican primary we fared no better as a career politician received the nod there too. Looks like once again a choice of the lesser of evils. WAKE UP Arkansas! WAKE UP America! Don't you know we are on the eve of destruction of what our forefathers worked and died for?

Bear says, "Mr. President if you are a natural born American just show your birth certificate. Don't have one I understand that I didn't either. Never saw the need for it as I was born at home in Bayou La Batre, Alabama and the attending country doctor didn't take the time to issue one. Ten years in the Marine Corps with tours in Vietnam and Okinawa I didn't need one for those foreign travels. Not until year later when I applied for a passport to go on a Mission Trip to Brazil. Wow thought I would never get one as it seemed after living all my life in America and serving in the military in a war zone my government wasn't sure I was a citizen. Never mind I had a top secret clearance with a krypto access while on active duty, wow! Took almost a year of producing documentation to get a passport to carry the Lord's Word and not a rifle overseas. How can it be so hard for me to go on a mission trip to pass government requirements yet a man can be president without producing proof of citizenship. This old bear thinks something ain't right in Denmark."

It just occurred to me that with the news of incumbent politicians from both parties having a hard time even getting through the primaries that the people of America are speaking loud and clear.
A word of warning to those who care; keep a close watch on elections. These old embedded, dishonest politicians and their party bosses have been at the take for too long to give up their "gravy train" without exhausting all means. Hope we aren't stupid enough to realize they can fix elections --- both parties have had practice at it. Change we really want is change that must come from the people. Don't think replacing one politician, Democrat or Republican, with another will solve anything, lets give the government back to the people.

Bear says, "Wow the president and his crew in congress have realized that the debt is a problem. Wonder if all the bailouts, handouts and health care have anything to do with it. Bet you a honey pot to a peanut they solve it by more taxes and less for the working folks, while the unions and government (aren't they becoming the same?) keep all those goodies that are running up the debt. I have seen more restraint and responsibility in a pig sty."

Friday Quote

Go to this people and say, Hearing you will not hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you will see, and not perceive; for the heart of this people has grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart and turn, so that I should heal them. ACTS 28:26-27
The words of Isaiah to the fathers, spoken by Paul to the Jews, today hold the truth our nation needs to hear; a call to understanding, repentance and healing of our people.

Do they think I'm as stupid as I look. Don't they know that I notice what they do is the opposite of what they say? Don't they know that an oath is a pledge of one's word? Don't they know that the United States of America is a Republic? Don't they know that a Republic is where the individuals rights are primary, that the state's rights are secondary and federal rights are to insure the rights of the individual and states and provide for common defense? Yet they continue to do as they wish and say what they think I want to hear. That is not my picture attached but how I think the politicians must think I am. They gonna get gorilla justice in October.
