On the cross Jesus cried out, "My God, My God why hast Thou forsaken me?" Even while He spoke these words He knew the answer, it must be done for the redemption of all who would believe.
Today many in America feel they should cry these words and that God has forsaken us. God is still there, it is we who have forsaken Him. If His Word teaches us anything it is that He will not abide in the presence of sin.
Abortion.
Homosexuality.
False Gods.
Greed.
On and on we need to repent and heed these words, "If My people, which are called by My name, will repent and return to Me" His promise is to return to us and heal our land.
