I don't know if I practiced more than anybody, but I sure practiced enough. I still wondered if somebody - somewhere - was practicing more than me.

ReplyDeleteYa know, the mopre I think about things the more I realize just how much we missed experiencing together - Like Bird and Johnson. We have a couple we lived next door to for 6 months in NC in 1976. We became best of friends in that short time. They still come see us and vice-versa. I sure wish we had been able to find each other a long time ago. You guys were very special for us! It's a shame we let the ball drop - and I think it was us that did it. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own little world that we can't see beyond the end of our nose.
